Sandringham is the much-loved country retreat of The British Royal Family, and has been the private home of four generations of British monarchs since 1862. The house, set in 24 hectares of stunning gardens, is perhaps the most famous stately home in Norfolk and is at the heart of the 8,000-hectare Sandringham Estate, 240 hectares of which make up the woodland and heath of the Country Park.
The House with Jacobean style exterior was built by King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra and houses a collection of treasures ranging from the Victorian-era to present day. Surrounded by glorious Gardens landscaped by Geoffrey Jelicoe - developed in turn by each Monarch and an extensive Royal Parkland with Children's Play Area and Courtyard Facilities.
Sandringham House and Garden are open daily from 10am - 5pm (Closed Fridays)
